What are the teams saying?

Bloemfontein Celtic head coach Veselin Jelusic

“We will go all out against Richards Bay FC on Sunday,” he said.

“We do not consider that they are participating in the National First Division (NFD). It will be 11 versus 11 when we face them.”

Richards Bay midfielder Lebogang Sentsho

“The goal (against Bloemfontein Young Tigers) is even better for me because we won the game and got through to the next round comfortably,” he said.

“We’ve got a new coach in charge and this has helped with the team dynamic. We are together as a group and the spirit among the players is very good.”

Bloemfontein Celtic key players

Deon Hotto: The left-footed attacking midfielder is one of Celtic’s key players, having featured in all of the team’s 23 league games this season. The Namibia international will be keen to inspire Phunya Sele Sele to victory on Sunday.

Richards Bay key players

Michael Gumede: The midfielder’s two goals helped Richards Bay beat Bloemfontein Young Tigers 5-0 in the last 32 encounter. The former Thanda Royal Zulu player will be eager to continue his good form against Celtic and help his side reach the quarterfinals.

Thabiso Nkoana: The experienced striker is one of the senior players in the Richards Bay squad. The former SuperSport and Ajax Cape Town forward will be hoping to use his experience to help the Natal Rich Boys stun Celtic.
